Look & Design
The Ridge Watch has a timeless design taking inspiration from other famed watches including the Omega Seamaster Diver’s Watch and Rolex Submariner. The large bezel and decadent face create a unique look at its three different offerings including The Alpine Navy (Blue & Red), Royal Black (Green & Black), and Carbon Fiber 3K. One other big aspect of the Ridge Watch is its ability to swap parts to change and customize its look. Whether it be the bezel or strap, Ridge offers ultimate customization not unusually seen in modern timepieces.
Technical Details & Features
Now onto some of the specific technical details. The Ridge Land & Sea uses a Swiss GMT Movement for amazing accuracy while the Super-LumiNova® and sapphire crystal offers great durability, as, after all, this is a diver watch. Speaking of diving the watch is water resistant up to 200m. It has a nice array of features including a reliable 24hr world time function to track hours, minutes, and even the date.
Price & final verdict
Overall I was very pleased with my time using the Ridge Watch. It’s a great value watch in my opinion that provides a classy and high-quality watch at a fraction of the price of many designer brands. Ridge has built a huge following over the years and this could very be a watch to invest in for the future as the brand grows. At a price tag starting at $495.00, The Ridge Watch sits in a highly contested price bracket, but definitely one of the biggest examples of an affordable Divers watch I’ve come across.
